Jerky Direct Original Steak Chunks Asparagus Egg Pie


Base Mixture :

3 large eggs, 1 cup half & half, 1/2 cup Whipping Cream. Season with salt and pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg (option) – all to taste. 

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Ingredients:

1 bag Jerky Direct Original Steak Chunks, 2 cups fresh asparagus - cut in 1" lengths, Handful of sliced mushrooms, Handful of chopped yellow onions - or more, 12 Cherry Tomatoes - cut in half (more if you choose) , 2 – 3 tablespoons green onions – chopped , 1.5 cups sharp yellow cheese , 1.5 cups Monterrey Jack cheese . 

Get as creative as you want. You can do all veggies, or sausage and mushrooms, grilled veggies, etc. Whatever you like is perfect. Whatever you do ALWAYS SAUTE yellow onions and mushrooms for maximum flavor in every combination. Use real butter to sauté all. 

Prepare base mixture above. Place eggs, half & half and cream together in large bowl and mix until airy and mixed well. - Put in cherry tomatoes, green onions, both cheeses and mix well. 

In a skillet – Sauté onions, mushrooms, and asparagus in butter until onions are soft. (Secret ingredient – splash of Cooking Sherry toward the end - let it burn off till all ingredients are somewhat soft and only a hint of Sherry). Salt and pepper to taste. Put in Jerky Direct Steak Chunks for only 2-3 minutes. 

Place skillet ingredients into base mixture and mix very well. Mix it fast so eggs don't harden. 

Butter a quiche pan well and pour ingredients into pan. 

Bake at 350° for 55 minutes.

You want the top light to medium brown and bubbling. Watch it! Let stand on stove for a few minutes before serving.
